Fingers Crossed!

I went into Dr. Ferguson's office this morning to get the second half of my root canal done. Today was a little more painful than last week. I guess it's because he used less numbing treatment on me this time. I could feel it when he got down to the root and without being too graphic about it it sent a chilling sensation throughout my whole body. The infection has gone down substantially, but he still said there was a bit left down there. He put in some more disinfectant solution and let it sit for a while in the hopes to flush out all the remaining bacteria. Only time will tell, but keep your fingers crossed for me please! He put in the filling so I can go about chewing like normal, but I will have to come in again once I'm back to get a crown put on. After all that, though, almost 3 months on stupid tooth infection, I think/I hope that I can finally put this problem behind me :) Wahoooo!

I picked up Mom from work in the early afternoon and we decided since we enjoyed our run so much yesterday that we should do it again. This time I brought my camera! The lighting wasn't as good as sunrise but it was still beautiful nonetheless. We spent the afternoon hanging out at home and I started to pack up again for my flight tomorrow.
Tonight Mom and I had a little dinner and a movie date at home. We watched Girl Interrupted because Mom really likes Angelina Jolie and made pizza. Mom really enjoyed it and I was pleasantly surprised how into it I was given that I've seen it almost a dozen times probably. Tomorrow I'm driving her to early in the AM so that means early night for both of us.

Love,

Alexis
